Halloween
A huge elm’s silhouette sways to and fro,
With a w-e-i-r-d m-o-a-n and murmur low.
Swish — ‘tis like a spirit gliding past,
A shadow o’er the earth is cast,
And on this ghostly autumn night
A large, soft, mellow light shines bright
Like a phantom spirit keeping watch o’er the night.
